When should I get my gutters cleaned out?
Before the rainy season. That's the honest answer and the whole strategy. Clear them while it's dry and they're ready when the daily storms arrive. If they're already overflowing, don't wait for a better time of year, call now.
How do I know my gutters need clearing?
Water over the side while it rains is the sure sign. Others: staining running down the wall below a gutter, a run that sags, or plants growing out of the top. Green growing out of a gutter means it's been full long enough to become a planter.
Do you clean the outside of the gutters too?
That's part of a house wash rather than the clear out. The outside gets soft washed at 900 to 1200 PSI along with the soffit and fascia. Plenty of customers book the two together, so ask and we'll quote both at once.
Will clearing the gutters get the stains off my wall?
No. The clear out sends the water down the downspout instead of over the side, which is the job. Staining that's already on the wall needs a wash to come off. Send us a photo of the wall and you'll get a straight answer on which it needs.
How often do gutters need doing here?
Depends on your trees. A home under oaks fills its gutters faster than one on an open lot, and you'll see the difference. Most homes do fine with a clear out ahead of the rainy season. Heavy tree cover may need more, and water over the side is the tell.
My HOA sent a letter about my gutters. Can you help?
We can do the cleaning side of it, the clear out and a wash for the staining. What your HOA actually requires is theirs to say, so confirm the specifics with them. Rules vary from community to community.
